Welcome to the ‘Sikh Freedom Movement’ page where we look at the Sangharsh from 1978 to 1995.

We aim to provide information on the Sangharsh through a dedicated Substack (an online writing system) where individuals such as yourself can subscribe and keep up to date with the latest write-ups. The ‘Sikh Freedom Movement’ Substack will feature information posted about historical events, actions, and battles carried out by Singhs, as well as biographies and general information on the Sangharsh. Additionally, we will provide Kavishri/Dhadhi and Archived Newspaper Translations for the Sangat to listen to and read.

At the moment, we are working with @santsipahiarchive who manages our photo archives and @sangharshakhbaararchive manages our newspaper archives. We also currently have two YouTube channels: one dedicated to Shaheed Bhai Nirmal Singh Chohla Sahib and one archive channel managed by @santsipahiarchive. The main goal of this initiative is to provide a platform where the Sangat can read about the many wonderful and inspiring stories throughout the Sangharsh.
