There is no need to introduce the valiant fighter Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma would always fight and would never cower. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma led a group of around 35 warriors. They went by the name Tat Khalsa. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma and his fellow Singhs caused havoc upon Indian security forces. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma had become the most wanted Kharku.
Once, Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma and Tat Khalsa were in Mankapur, and someone tipped the Central Reserve Police Force [CRPF] of this. 20,000 CRPF soldiers flooded the area and began closing in on the Tat Khalsa men. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma and the Tat Khalsa men were fully surrounded. The only way out would be by fighting.
A fierce battle began. Bullets rained all over. A bloody clash had begun. It was a bloodbath. CRPF men were dropping like flies, but many Singhs were getting shot as well. A bullet cut through Bhai Avtar Singh’s right hand and severed his middle finger. It was a brutal battle. Despite all that was happening, Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma proved he was a Sant Sipahi and had control over bhakti and shakti. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma remembered Guru Ji and focused on Maharaj. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma was a Nihang of Baba Bidhi Chand Dal. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma called upon Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji to save him, like Maharaj had saved Baba Bidhi Chand. Maharaj always helps his true Sikhs. Guru Sahib had put his hand over Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma and was personally protecting him.
Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma’s clothes and dastar were marked with many bullet holes, but his body was not being touched. Bhai Sahib didn’t bleed. It was as if he was made of iron. The truth is that Guru Sahib personally protected his beloved son. Bhai Balwinder Singh Ji blew up 3 CRPF vehicles. All the Singhs continued to fight. Although some of the Singhs with him were martyred, Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma managed to break the lines of the CRPF and escape into the night with others. Over 2,000 CRPF soldiers were killed by Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma and the Tat Khalsa, who only numbered 35.
Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma would show people his clothes from the battle, showing the bullet holes and showing how he didn’t suffer any wounds. People would realize that Guru Sahib is truly with his Singhs all the time, and protects them like a father does his son. Bhai Avtar Singh Ji Brahma would remark that he was saved only so he could continue his seva for the Panth and move the revolution forward.
